Library file for the R engine in Windows?
...ry Rdll.lib needs to be built
from source, but I am not sure
if this is still the recommended route.
I am using Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit in Windows XP Pro.
Thank you for any advice.

General expression of a unitary matrix
Hi, all,
Does anybody got the most general expression of a unitary matrix?
I found one in the book, four entries of the matrix are:
(cos\theta) exp(j\alpha); -(sin\theta)exp(j(\alpha-\Omega));
(sin\theta)exp(j(\beta+\Omega)); (cos\theta) exp(j\beta);
where "j" is for complex.
However, since for any two unitary matrices, their product should also
be a unitary matrix. When I

beginner's problem in displaying large data
I got a sample data (let's call it sample.data), which is about 2200 by 15.
I tried to take a look of all data
>sample.data
It shows only a part of data that I thought was a corner. It does not
really affect my job, but I thought it is nice to have a look of all
data. I can see individual records and they are fine.
Is this normal because of buffer size or some reasons? Can I use other

Moving standard deviation?
Is there a simple function in R to get a moving standard deviation
(i.e. for the last x samples)?
My goal is to plot bollinger bands around a moving average for price
data. I use kernel smoothing for the moving average.
cheers and thanks!

What I'd dearly love to do, without looping or lapply-ing through t1
and rbinding (too much data for this to finish quickly enough -- this
is about 10% of what I'm eventually going to have to manage), is
convert t1 to one big dataframe.
On the other hand, I admit that I...
