Polycom digitmap question
...epending digits to the number dialed. Does anyone know how to prepend a digit to the number dialed (from the Polycom side, not Asterisk)? I can do this pretty easily on a Sipura. i.e. Say I want to add the digit "9" to what the user dials 1xxxxxxxxxx, the Polycom should actually send 91xxxxxxxxxx to Asterisk.

Pre-pending certain digits (like 9) to an outbound call number
Hey all, Working slowly on getting the myriad number of parts to my fax system plan together, and one of the pieces I want to nail is how to go about, for the outbound context (fax-out) pre-pending a digit onto a number? I.e., for all my testing right now, I've been dialing '91XXXXXXXXXX', as the asterisk server doing faxing junctions into my old Rolm CBX switch, and so I need the '9' digit to dial outside numbers. However, for deployment, I'd like to save the users confusion and have the server automatically append that leading '9' digit. That possible by...

H.323 Gateway Connection
Hi, I'm trying to setup Asterisk to allow users to dial out to the PSTN using a remote box supporting h.323. I'm using chan_h323.so, and I'm able to make outbound calls to a client like netmeeting with a line like this: exten => 242,1,Dial(h323/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) And I'm able to receive incoming calls to asterisk. However I'm not sure how to route calls to the remote h.323

Polycom IP 500 Voicemail
Hello All, I have some Polycom IP 500 phones that I would like to have configured for direct dialing to our voice mail system. So far I have been unable to get the hard button labeled Voice Mail to connect to Asterisk without first passing through the message center prompts. I have followed all the Admin Guide instructions regarding the phones .cfg files and using
