heatmap.2 - change column & row locations; angle / rotate
...both rows & columns from the default right & bottom, to left and top. Can this be done within heatmap.2()? Or do i need to suppress this default behavior (how) and call a new function to relabel (what) specifying locations? 2. Change the angle of the labels. By default column labels are 90deg anti-clock-wise from horizontal. How to bring them back to horizontal? Or better, rotate 45deg clock-wise from horizontal (ie., rotate 135deg a.clock.wise from default)? Any suggestions or pointers to helpful resources greatly appreciated, Karl -- Karl Brand Department of Genetics Erasmus MC...

factanal results interpretation - am I right here?
...(the path) and the device's orientation at any of those positions. From this, we calculated the rotation of the reproduced path (e.g. 180deg. for half a circle), the total yaw (total rotation of the device), and the average orientation relative to the path (e.g. 0deg for "tangential", 90deg. for inward or outward). We analysed the errors in these measures, compared to the presented values, and normalised to the total perceived amount of yaw: yrelerr.PathRot, relerr.Yaw and relerr.PathRel.Orn Additionally, we calculated measures of overlap (more exactly: average pointwise distance af...

Vorbis is low on artifacts but EQ isn't good
I'm amazed by how low the artifacts are when encoding with Vorbis, but I found problems (Vorbis version 1.00) on equalization (high vs midrange vs low pitches balance) when encoding my benchmark audio track, problems which are hard to go away even at very high bitrates. My benchmark audio track is composed by me and you can find it here http://www.trombettworks.com/drumswork.php in losslessly
