Deleting rows dataframe in R conditional to “if any of (a specific variable) is equal to”
Dear list,
I have been struggling for some time now with this code... I have this vector of unique ID "EID" of length 821 extracted from one of my dataframe (skate). It looks like this:
> head(skate$EID)
[1] "896-19" "895-8" "899-1" "899-5" "899-8" "895-7"
I would like to remove the complete rows in another dataframe (t5) if any of the t5$EID is equal (a duplicate) of skate$EID.
I was able to get my 'duplicated' dataframe in t5 of all my matching EID as follow:

Can't access by NetBIOS Aliases or IP Address
Hi all.
I am running Debian jessie server with Samba, which has joined the Active Directory domain. The domain controllers are Windows Server 2012 R2.
After I upgraded Samba version from 4.1.17+dfsg-2+deb8u2 to 4.2.10+dfsg-0+deb8u2, I'm facing the problem that I can't access Samba share by NetBIOS Aliases or IP Address.
The Samba's NetBIOS name is mysamba, and I can access by

documentation problems in str.Rd (PR#899)
File `src/library/base/man/str.Rd' shows the usage
ls.str(name, pattern, mode = "any", max.level = 1, give.attr = FALSE)
whereas the code for ls.str() really has
function (..., mode = "any", max.level = 1, give.attr = FALSE)
where the `...' is passed to ls().
The usage indicates `pattern' as a positional argument, which it is not.

I have a data.frame object and I don't really understand how to made an xts
class out of it.

Second attempt - all goes well leaving the message. Then I want to hangup
on the caller in some way (which 899 does), in reality the caller stays
connected, and then the "pagee's" extensions start to ring. If I use a
hangup directly the script stops there.

Volume of patches for CentOS vs Fedora

desktops so there are some advantages to Fedora.
However, one thing I can't help but notice is that the patch volume for
FC4 from Oct 11 2005 thru the present compared to CentOS 4.2 for the
same period is about 5 times greater. In fact, since June, there are
899 RPMs in the FC4 updates directory for FC4 which seems absolutely insane.
CentOS is a smaller distro, but not that much smaller. Also, I
understand that CentOS's parent distro (from a prominent North American
Linux Distributor) is supposed to be better tested before release than
