IOMMU and AMD 890fx
Hi, All the reviews for the AMD 890fx chipset reported that it supports IOMMU v1.2. But I cannot find any mention of that on AMD site. Does 890fx support IOMMU? Do 890fx motherboards with IOMMU exist? Does Xen support 890fx? Regards, Leonardo _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xen...

890FX AMD-Vi (IOMMU)
Hello, I was hoping someone might be able to tell me why IOMMU does not seem to be found on my system. At the very least is there any way I can get more debug information in addition to adding iommu=verbose to the command line? Xen 4.0.0 MSI 890FXA-GD70 (I spoke with an MSI representative who confirmed that this motherboard does support IOMMU) AMD Phenom II 1090T x6 # dmesg __ __ _ _ ___ ___ \ \/ /___ _ __ | || | / _ \ / _ \ \ // _ \ ''_ \ | || |_| | | | | | | / \ __/ | | | |__ _| |_| | |_| | /_/...

Lin/Win desktop/games rig with PEG pass-through
Hi all, I''m planning a rig that has SuSE linux in Dom0 and Windows7 in a DomU with the PCIe video card passed through to the Win7-U and an AMD system''s onboard video for the Linux system. Couple xen-newbie questions: does my plan work in such that I intend to have the onboard video''s DVI and the video card (at present an NV GTX-460) on the same monitor and switch

Status of FLR in Xen 4.4
Hi everyone, I would like to ask what the current status of FLR, or better of FLR emulation is in latest Xen and if we can expect better support in the future. I''m asking because with xl (latest build and traditional qemu, not upstream), I always had problems with rebooting domUs which have vga cards passed through to them, because appearently they don''t get reinitialized and

[xen-unstable] Commit 2ca9fbd739b8a72b16dd790d0fff7b75f5488fb8 AMD IOMMU: allocate IRTE entries instead of using a static mapping, makes dom0 boot process stall several times.
Hi Jan, After commit 2ca9fbd739b8a72b16dd790d0fff7b75f5488fb8 AMD IOMMU: allocate IRTE entries instead of using a static mapping, booting dom0 stalls several times. Sometimes this results in RCU stall warnings from the dom0 kernel, hitting the "any" key, on normal or serial console, makes the boot continue for a while but it stalls several times. (It also stalls on shutdown BTW) I have
