Asterisk spontaneous reboot
Hello,
Today I restart the MySQL-DB (/sbin/service mysqld restart) and I could
no longer connect to asterisk (/usr/sbin/asterisk -r) for a few seconds.
There is now a core dump present in /tmp :
-rw------- 1 root root 88M Aug 26 08:07
core.sip.pbx.tld-2011-08-26T08:07:35+0200
How can I get usefull information about what went wrong ? Because a
spontaneous reboot of Asterisk has never happened before when just
restarting the MySQL-deamon.
Kind regards,
Jonas.

reporting a bug
...ession open on feldor and it is at /test/Kibbutz and I am doing "ls -ahs" to monitor the progress of the synch.
Before the synch Kbup_1.aaa is 29Gigabytes in size. /test/Kibbutz/Kbup_1.aaa is 101 Megabytes in size.
Just prior to completion the "ls -ahs" gives me 29G Kbup_1.aaa 88M .Kbup_1.aaa.fYAquX.
Back on X, stout has "building file list ... done \nKbup_1.aaa\nKbup_1.aaa\n"
I do another "ls -ahs" and it gives me 29G Kbup_1.aaa~ 101M Kbup_1.aaa 72M .Kbup_1.aaa.ZizdvC
On X I get my stats and a command prompt
On feldor, I do "ls -ahs" again an...

64bit vs 32bit
I am upgrading a server that mounts in a rack. Its going on the
cheapest socket 775 CPU I can buy and in a 1u rack case. All its for
is keeping some log files and doing some simple MYSQL/PHP database
stuff. Not a work horse at all. Anyway, is it better to go 64bit or
32bit for the CentOS 5.x install? I do not see needing huge amounts
of RAM or anything like that on this box. Would the 32bit
