Cannot get Centrino N 6200 wireless NIC to work Cento 6.4
...the network interfaces
will work. When I boot up to windows both the wired and the wireless
network interfaces work. I have attached dmesg output for the wireless
card. Reading through the messages it appears that OS cannot talk to the
NIC.

Not so complex CompleteConfiguration example of a Complete Configuration?
...complex, or that works pretty much out of the box on
Fedora and does something useful like deploys a Fedora system with
apache and maybe mysql?
That would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Centos 4.0 (Final) and Dell 1950 with SAS controller
Hi All,
I have an "appliance" cd which uses CentOS 4.0 (Final) which I am trying to load on a new Dell 1950 server with a SAS driver controller. During the install it fails to find any disks to load to. I got the drivers from Dell and dd the correct one to a floppy, boot from the appliance cd and enter linux dd at the prompt. I load the driver in the install and it still fails to find

10.04 Ubuntu
Hi, Chauk-Mean and all -
I have just ported everything to 10.04 ubuntu, and I am pleased to note that
I was able to use prepackaged stuff almost everywhere.
Yes, it was painful before I figured it out. :)
I used apt-get to install ruby-1.8.7, all the wx libraries (including the
dev header packages)
I uninstalled the debian rubygems package completely and installed
rubygems-1.4.1 from the

CentOS5 running very slowly on a core 2 duo with 4 GB RAM
Hi, I've installed CentOS5.2 on an INTEL Core 2 Duo (Intel(R) Core(TM)2
Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz), 4 GB RAM (MemTotal: 4072176 kB) and
my system gets sevarel minutes to startup, specially on udev daemon.
Once the system is UP, every command I run gets 100% CPU and every is
very slowly at the point yum -y update never ends. The system installed
by default this kernel 2.6.18-53.el5PAE.

[LLVMdev] Is cross-compiling for ARM on x86 with llvm/Clang possible?
Hello list,
I wonder if llvm/Clang can compile C or C++ for ARM from on x86.
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.compilers.clang.devel/8896
The talk above answered 'NO' to my question, which means Clang is not yet
able to cross compile for ARM on X86.
Is the answer still correct for my question?
I saw somewhere that Clang supports ARM on Darwin only. Then is the cross
compiling possible only on Darwin not on linux or FreeBSD...
