opengl32.dll problem running WoW.exe after new graphics card
Running Ubuntu 7.10 64bit, had World of Warcraft running fine under Wine with OpenGL, then my graphics card ate itself (Nvidia 7900GTX). Bought a new one (Nvidia 8800GT), but I had to monkey with the system in order to get the 8800GT to work. I'm pretty sure I messed something up trying to get the 8800GT to work as I had to remove the restricted drivers module. Now when I try to run WoW.exe

Problems with World of Warcraft since 0.9.48 update
...the time, but
getting a stable 25-35 would be great.
On a side note: I noticed that WoW take about 95% of the CPU. That
sounds too much (and maybe all these problems are due to this main
problem).
I have Kubuntu 7.10 64 bits on an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 Ghz, 2 Gb of Ram
DDR2 800Mhz, Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX (latest drivers downloaded directy
from the Nvidia web site). I have done the most common configurations
(modification to the registry, WoW config file, and nice -15) as listed
on http://www.wowwiki.com/Linux/Wine (I tried to search other how-to).
Any idea how can I solve my probles?
Thank in adv...

Problem with multiboxing WoW
...ut a problem, but I run into issues when I try to open a third.
Some background: I'm running each one from a separate install, not trying to open them all from the same folder. I'm using Wine 1.1.2, and the latest binary nVidia drivers (173.14.12). I've got 2 GB of RAM and an nVidia 8800GTX with 768 MB RAM. I've got a Core2Duo E6700 (2.66ghz stock) that's phase cooled and overclocked to 3.2ghz stable, but I've brought it back down to stock values for testing. I'm running Ubuntu Hardy, 2.6.24-20-generic, and I've disabled Compiz for testing purposes.

Patching Wine 1.0-rc1 with 3dmark.diff
Hey guys,
I'm a new Ubuntu convert (installed through Wubi, and am blown away!)
I'd love to get wine working so I play games etc, but I've got a lot of learning to do when it comes to installing and getting things working.
So, I want to use the 1.0-rc1 version of wine, but CoD4 requires the 3dmark.diff patch.
This is what I think I need to be doing:
with the 3dmark.diff file
