[Bug 639] New: iptables iprange
...antos at anacom.pt
Dear iptables Team,
I found that iprange match module extension in iptables might not be working in
1.4.7 version.
I was using the following rule in 1.4.0:
-A fwd-acl -d 192.168.1.2/32 -i eth1 -p tcp -m iprange --src-range
10.0.0.1-10.0.0.2 -m tcp --sport 1024:65535 --dport 8585 -m state --state NEW
-j ACCEPT
Now I upgrade to 1.4.7 and found that altough this rule is accepted without an
error, what is in fact taking place is (rules were reloaded with
iptables-restore):
-A fwd-acl -d 192.168.1.2/32 -i eth1 -p tcp -m iprange --src-range
0.0.0.0-0.0.0.0 -m tcp --sport 1024:...

some ldap-searches take a very long time, sometimes even over 15

The load of the ldap processes reaches 100% of a CPU. The ldapserver is

It seems that the ldapsearches are blocking each other.

Naive suggestions for (kinda) funding
First of all, don't shoot me if I got some things wrong.
I personally recommend (without much success :-)) to buy from www.cheeplinux.com (Definite Software), because I believe this is of some help to the CentOS project. At least, to some people involved in it (please correct me if I'm wrong).
?1. Anyway, as PayPal is _not_ an option for some countries, donations to CentOS.org can't

[LLVMdev] 'Implementing a language with LLVM' tutorial
Hi All,
LLVM has long needed a tutorial for people who are interested in using
it to implement their favorite language and to demonstrate how to use
the JIT. To help solve this, I've put together a little tutorial that
runs through the implementation and extension of a toy language here:
http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/
At this point, the tutorial is feature complete, but might

MTU and Voice Delay (latency??)
Our users are experiencing some unacceptable delay when trying to have a
conversation. The delay is so noticeable that they keep stepping on each
others words and resort to calling the customers via cell phone.
Here is the setup

Speedtouch 610 SDSL Modem
3Com 2224PWR Plus Switch (phones on separate VLAN)
8 Cisco 796 Phones
All connecting to a remote Asterisk Server.
