problem with replicate and "..." (PR#8472)
I am using R version 2.0.0 (2004-10-04) on Fedora Core 2. This works correctly: > foo <- function(x=1,y=2) { c(x,y) } > bar <- function(n,...) c(n,foo(...)) > bar(10,3) [1] 10 3 2 But it goes wrong if I replace "c" in bar with "replicate": > foo <- function(x=1,y=2) { c(x,y) } > bar <- function(n,...) replicate(n,foo(...)) > bar(10,3)

Problem with 1.9.18p1 and password server
In version 1.9.17.p2, a password server line in smb.conf could contain multiple server entries and if a username/password combination failed to validate on one server it would try against the next one until it got a match. Even if the account existed on the first server that was tried, and the password failed, then the subsequent server would be tried. We liked this feature as we have users on

axis placement with stacked barplots and the asp=1 parameter
Hi, I'm currently using barplot to generate vertically stacked bar charts. I'd like to be able to use the "asp=1" parameter with barplot(), but doing this causes the y axis to be placed on the far left as shown in the attachment demo.pdf. I could get around this by using the negative values for the line parameter of the axis() function. I'd rather not do this and imagine
