backgroundrb and REXML issue
...ding="ISO-8859-1"?>
Adding this worked fine when I tested it without using backgroundrb.
That is, when parsing within the main application, I get the expected
behaviour. However, when I try to hand it off to a worker, I get the
following error in backgroundrb.log:

[LLVMdev] memory hog llvm-ld
I want to share a little LLVM experiment.
I tried LLVM on one of my bigger Qt 3.x based projects. I used
llvm from SVN trunk (r39999) and SVN llvm-gcc-4.01 (r370) and
did compile every file with
/usr/src/llvm/dist/bin/g++ -c -pipe -g \
-Wall -Wextra -Wno-sign-compare \
... lots of -Dxxxx ... \
--emit-llvm -I/usr/share/qt3/mkspecs/default \
-I. -I.. -I../../../include/qt3 -I.obj/ \

Also, lets take a look inside PCM_USB_protocol_2014.pdf:
"16 0x8456 Delay Before Startup R/W *5 Byte*"
And old specs for BNT protocol:
"16 8456 DelayBeforeStartup *** R/W *2 Byte*"
So, the length for DelayBeforeStartup report changed from 2 to 5 bytes.
Or there was added a new report for example:

I tried the obvious "HOME=/tmp/ make tests", but that fails, as does other
similar methods.
Short of tricking the tree with LD_PRELOAD or similar hacks, what is the
best way to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

CentOS 4.4 smp on Dual Quad Core Xeon
I'm booting the default kernel on a dual quad core Xeon machine. I only see four CPUs and I expect to see 8.
Do I have to build a custom kernel?
Is there a switch or configuration parameter I need to set?
Thanks,
Jerry

how to list and kill existing console sessions to VMs?
Hi everyone,
If a VM is configured to have a console attached to it, like using
http://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementCharConsole
Libvirt offers access to VM serial console's using the virDomainOpenConsole API[1]
However, I didn't find a way to
1. list the existing connections to the console
2. kill an existing connection - without reconnecting using VIR_DOMAIN_CONSOLE_FORCE[2]
