In /etc/security/limits.d/,there is only 20-nproc.conf.
I modified /etc/security/limits.conf,what I added is:
"* soft nofile 81920
* hard nofile 81920"
I also modified /etc/pam.d/login,that I added is:
"session required pam_limits.so"
The output of "ulimit -a" is:

can't establish more than 1000 connections with virsh
Hi:
I'm trying to connect with libvirtd with virsh from a remote PC,but
only can establish 1000 connections.
If try more connections,prompt:
"error: failed to connect to the hypervisor
error: Failed to open file '/etc/libvirt/libvirt.conf': Too many
open files"
I tried in another PC,also get the same prompt.
Anybody know why?
Thanks!

[RFC][PATCH -mm] blktrace: adds ioprio to blktrace
..._get_ioprio() and [new]bio_get_ioprio() to get ioprio.
Currently bio_get_ioprio just returns current->io_context->ioprio.
Appreciate any comments:
Does this kind of information helpful?

smbd -D hangs
I'm testing both sunfreeware and official sun (sfw) samba on Solaris

the start.
No log is generated on server side
Where smbd is started, I can't find any open port on 139 or 145
My OS is Solaris 10

1.0-test25 with new cache file code
http://dovecot.org/test/
Pretty much the only change since test24 is a redesign of how cache
file writing works. Reading works as before - without locks.
Before (in 1.0-tests, 0.99 was worse) we used to just try to lock it.
If it failed, we just didn't update cache. If it didn't fail, the lock
could have been kept a long time. For example if a user was downloading

My naive solution that didn't work:
1) create an alternate login that yields my existing permissions and

2) configure the iPhone to use that login
3) subscribe to the folders I want
