Slow header fetching rate over nfs mailspool.
We are setting up a Dovecot over a pair of NFS which mirrored with DRBD
+Heartbeat,
under Debian Etch AMD64 with Kernel 2.6.22-5.
The problem was slow header downloading rate. We had tried to use
postal to inject 500 emails which are under 5KB each,
but when ever we start up Mail.app, Thunderbird or even OE6, the
header download rate is terrible slow.
Its look like a few sec for just 1

Strange bug since 3.83 version
...t card, reboot, then windows boot-up correctly !
I've constated this bug on several computers with theses network cards:
- Computer A: RTL8101E
03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E/RTL8102E P
CI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 02)
03:00.0 0200: 10ec:8136 (rev 02)
- Computer B: Atheros AR8132 PCI-E
This problem is present with pxelinux.0 since 3.83 version, 4.03
included :( ... if i use pxelinux.0 from 3.82 everything is good (but
some new hardware does not work damned !)
Do you have some ideas (please say "yes") ?

CentOS 6.4 tcp_fatretrans_alert causes panic
Hi all,
Our kernel is 2.6.32-358.14.1.x86_64, recently dozens of them panicked,
since it's been OK for a long time and the problem emerged all of a sudden,
I'm not sure if an upgrade caused this problem. Here's what I got from
backtracing:

Apache2 crashes, MySQL uses upto 90% CPU
...ear to be defunct.
I read around and found that logrotate may be crashing Apache if it
doesn't quit in time. I have performance tuned MySQL to cache queries,
modified php.ini not to use too many persistent connections,
restricted the number of connections that Apache will answer to.
Top says:
8136 mysql 16 0 202 51:55.73 5.7 680m 225m 5352 S mysqld
Is there anyone else experiencing similar things? Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time.
