Hi all, Can samba have multiples domains in a single OU on ldap ? Cause I have 2 separate samba domains, many users in the same OU depending on one or the other domain (not 2 at the same time, the SID is refering to only one domain), and every user can log into the 2 domains without interdomain trust... Is it a normal feature ? (Yes it's a configuration a little twisted, I know ;)) Mathieu

Hi, I have a working samba setup using ldap from following the smbldap-installer scripts etc, but now have one remaining problem. This is the second time I have installed it and had it working reasonably well being used in an educational environment. My problem this time is that each workstation has 3 operating systems - Windows98SE, Win2K and WinXP. Last time I created the domain it was fine

When I copy an old file to a share the motification time is not changed. Ok, the file has not been modified but since it is new to this share I like to change it's time to the copy time! There MUST be an option to do this!But I haven't found it yet :( Can anyone help? -- Torsten
