IEEE 802.1x capable sip phones
Does anyone know if sip phones from any of the major IP phone vendors
support 802.1x authentication? Any feedback would be greatly
appreciated.

[OT] 802.11x roaming
Hi, I'd like to replace my DECT + fxs phones with some wireless phones.
Main problem is: what about the roaming from one ap to another? Do
someone adopted the 802.11r standard? What APs and what phones do you
suggest me? I'm open to suggestions but I'd like to avoid proprietary
solutions, I don't want to be bound to any hardware vendor. My switch
does support spanning tree

using Wifi smartphones as SIP clients
All,
has anyone any experience in using Wifi smartphones as SIP clients? Does
this work properly? What models/brands are optimal for this (in terms of
ease of use, battery life etc)?

Recommendations for 100 Wifi SIP phone setup
Hi all,
Im preparing a quote for a 5 Star hotel, planning to have around 100
SIP Wifi phones for PBX operations running on 100 AccessPoints.
Network is running in ARUBA Networks - AP70 access points.
The initial recommendation is to go for Hitachi Wifiphones, but i
would like to know from the group the recommendations. Im planning to
put up Asterisk as the PBX, Please advice me the do's and
