Panic in 1.1.6 file ioloop.c: line 206
Hi all, I just had a panic with dovecot 1.1.6, two days after replacing 1.0.15 with it in production. Here are the logs immediately preceding the panic, I think they're related. It seems the user connected simultaneously from two different clients, from his own computer and a webmail running on the server, then manipulated mail folders on one side, and logged out. The panic occurred 3

Fujitsu Siemens PRIMERGY RX300
Hi all Opensolaris works perfectly, but I am not able to boot the xvm kernel on this hardware. I added the -k option in grub, but the system hangs before the hostname line without any debug info. I''ve tried snv from b94 to b99, with the same results. If I install Debian with xen kernel I am able to use pvm and hvm guests. What can I do ? thanks Giacomo -- This message posted from

DJBDNS: very weird dnscache issue
...of thousands of requests per second. We then proceeded to edit the following parameters in the dnscache.conf as they seemed to be the only ones that seemed relevant: DATALIMIT and CACHESIZE. They are described as limints (in bytes) on the total data memory allocation and cache, default values are 80000000 and 50000000 respectively. Playing with these demonstrated some highly counterintuitive results: 1) Setting the values lower (say, an order of magnitude lower) made the dnscache process run longer. 2) Shortening the relative gap between the two values (for instance, setting DATALIMIT at 52000 an...
