OT: DELL PERC H200
Does anyone know if a PERC H200 is a real RAID controller? I'm about to build a box to CentOS 6.5 (it was Windows...) with RAID 6 on Monday, and this PE R610 has this.... I'm familiar with PERC 6 and 7s, but just dunno 'bout this one. mark

Aggregation elements
Howdy, Is there a method to get the number of elements in an aggregation? Are the results stored in an aggregation guaranteed to be in any type of order? Thanks for any insight, - Ryan -- UNIX Administrator http://daemons.net/~matty

Multilanguage support
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+multi-language By trial and error and a lot of ancient nordic magic (reading the source) I found out that Asterisk does not look for language-specific sound files with the -cc extension, cc being country code. Asterisk looks for files first in a "cc" subdirectory, like "se/vm-login.gsm", then in the default directory.

Speex on Nokia 6600
Hi, I have one question: Will Speex run in realtime (both encode / decode probably simulateusly) on Nokia 6600 --- basicaly ARM9 104MHz with Symbian 7s after porting to its C++ or Java? I am thinking mostly about the worst quality encoding (optionally duplex). Can this processor make it? Oh 6600 has something about 6mb memory if I remember good. iptables miss up phone calls if not used properly
...re this with u and ask for little help at the same time: i used iptables to secure my server, so i wnet ahead and blocked avery thing except a couple of domain protocols and UDP ports of SIP, IAX2 and that range 15000 to 20000, tested it and OK. when in production, the calls were taking a huge time 7s to be established and somtimes after call setup people cannot hear ech other (but not all the time which weird), so iptables can miss up performance if not set correctly (even if it's working, stuff like this can happen). so if any body have some lines of iptables that secure server and don'...

read.table with different row lengths
...need to read in a series of text files with a time series on each row. The series are of different lengths and I'd like to just use the first row as the length and have R ignore extra values in rows that go over this length. For example: 1 0 3 4 5 1 3 5 6 8 7 7 2 1 1 1 4 7 7 7 So the 7s would be ignored and I would have a 5x3 matrix. I tried creating a series of colClasses with NULLs for the extra values by using max(count.fields(file)) - min(count.fields(file)) but this didn't work and would be too time consuming for lots of files. fill=T doesn't seem to be workin...

Variables in a Tabular form. easily saved in a txt file
Dear all, I would like to save few variable-names with their values in a tabular form, with that I mean that files can be printed easily in R in a tabular form and also saved in a ascii file that when one opens it see also the variables in a nice tabular format. IS that possible? Below a small example of how should look results in R and in a txt file.              Postal Code | Superb

What it is supposed to do is create a file containing all packets for display between 7 and 11 seconds, and to include all packets required to decode those, ie. all reference frames that are required by packets from 7s onwards. The original file included two more Dirac packets immediately prior to those included in the chopped output, but I don't know how to tell if these are required reference frames for those from 7s (or from 6.965s) onwards: conrad at chichai:~/share/oggz-chop$ oggz dump ../dirac/sage-64...
