Microsoft Office 2007 and Wine only
First off before I delve into the purpose of this thread I want to lay down a few ground rules. This thread is only about MS OFFICE 2007 (OFFICE 12) and Wine. No Exceptions! To break it down further I don't want any information about the following alternatives which I know work, but defeat the purpose. No talk of: Open Office (Ooo) MS OFFICE 2000, XP or 2003 CrossOver Office any emulators

Stratosphere - Conquest of the Skies game blacks out screen.
Stratosphere is an old game for Windows 95-98. When played in Wine it will act like it's starting up, then completely blank out the primary screen. The secondary screen will stay open and I can press Ctrl-Alt-F1 and kill the Stratos.exe task, which recovers the screen. I also attempted to run it in compatibility mode with Windows XP and Vista, but the mouse is very sensitive in the game,

Game that worked in .24 doesn't in .25 and .26
I have a game (The Witcher Enhanced) that worked in 1.1.24, but does not in .25 or .26. It dies on startup with a black screen, and CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE (killing the X server) appears to be the only escape. In addition, attempting to run in with .26 makes changes in the .wine directory I use for the game, such that the only way to get it to run in .24 again is to reload the .wine directory from
