FREE (305) and (786) termination. Anyone interested?
I have an Asterisk box with free local termination to area codes (305)
and (786) [Miami area, US]. I want to configure it to accept incomming
VoIP traffic (can't use IAX) and terminate calls over the PSTN network.
I need help with the configuration and also some incoming traffic for
testing purposes.

categorical data
Dear List,
I neeed a grouped list with two sort of categorical data. I have a data
.frame like this.
year cat. b c
1 2006 a1 125 212
2 2006 a2 256 212
3 2005 a1 14 12
4 2004 a3 565 123
5 2004 a2 156 789
6 2005 a1 1 456
7 2003 a2 786 123
8 2003 a1 421 569
9 2002 a2 425 245
I need a list with the sum of b and c for every year and every cat (a1,
a2 or a3) in this year. I had used the tapply function to build the sum
for every year or every cat. How can I combine the two grouping values?

cannot hibernate, not enough swap

Error Trying to Join Win2k to Samba 2.2.5 Domain
...and /etc/smbpasswd.
/etc/smbpasswd is owned by root and is mode 0600, so I'm not sure why
samba can't read it.
I've put up the smb.conf file here:

Too many open files - 786 000 already specified as max num open files?
Hi guys
I have a site on Asterisk 1.8.11.0 running in Centos 6.5 that has about 150
concurrent callers.
I keep getting these types of messages in the CLI:

tapply and names
...bute (although it has one, at
least in R-2.1.0, 2005-01-19). Another aspect is that this code relies on
m.id being numeric; I would have to change it if the type of m.id changes
to, eg, character.
So, question: Is there a better way of doing this?

Custom Print Command

capability. However, mpage appears to do what I want, but I can't
seem to make it work. Ie, the following doesn't work at all:
print command = mpage -4 -P %p %s
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

read.spss: unrecognized record type

What does it mean? Do I have to worry? The result looks as expected. I do
not have (easy) access to SPSS, so I cannot check exactly that I got what I
should have.

(2000) is an excellent book, but too much for this course. I need somthing
more elementary.
I have a vague memory saying that such books exist, but I cannot find any
