predict.glm(..., type="response") dropping names (and a propsed (PR#7792)
Here's a patch that should make predict.glm(..., type="response") retain the
names. The change passes make check on our Opteron running SLES9. One
simple test is:
names(predict(glm(y ~ x, family=binomial,
data=data.frame(y=c(1, 0, 1, 0), x=c(1, 1, 0, 0))),
newdata=data.frame(x=c(0, 0.5, 1)), type="response"))
which gives

Using LDAP with samba
is it possible and how difficult is it, to use LDAP for all the user
accounts and groups and password management? would this be something you
would want to do? or is it better to stick with samba's initila way of
dealing with users?

1.6.2 - Pickup and SIP Replaces header
Hello,
I'm using Thomson/Technicolor ST2030S hardphones with Asterisk 1.6.
Changing from 1.6.1.18 to 1.6.2.6, I can see a change in Pickup's behaviour
and I'm a bit confused about it.
With 1.6.2.6, when extension 7791 is calling extension 7792, I can see
INVITE messages coming in and out Asterisk.
I can also see a NOTIFY message advertising this call to subscriber 7793,
for instance.
Here is an extract of this message :

BUG FIXES
o lm(qr=FALSE) now works.
o predict.glm() not longer loses names for "response" predictions.
(PR#7792)
o Typo in menu(graphics=TRUE) meant it failed on Unix if tcltk

o When names.dist() was removed, the result of cmdscale() lost
its rownames. The example also lost the labels.
o R CMD check assumed 'tar' was GNU tar and so supported -z.

MTU and Voice Delay (latency??)
Our users are experiencing some unacceptable delay when trying to have a
conversation. The delay is so noticeable that they keep stepping on each

[LLVMdev] Optimization puzzle...
Here's a version that doesn't try to do block deletion on it's own. If you
use -adce then -simplifycfg, you get what you want.
It passes all tests except one, which is that we delete an invoke of a pure
function, IE Transforms/ADCE/dce_pure_invoke.ll -
I'm not sure why that's bad.
The reason we delete it is because it returns false to
I.mayHaveSideEffects(), and in particular,
