3des cipher and DH group size
...ize estimation. This is probably fine as far as the cipher has the same number of bits of security as the key length. But this is not true for 3TDEA where the key size is 168 resp 192 but it's security is only 112. Given that the key size in openssh is set to 192, DH group size is estimated to 7680. But according to NIST SP 800-57, the size of DH key should be 2048 so openssh doesn't follow that and it might cause problems with key exchanges with some servers. Would it make sense to extend the Cipher struct with the bits for security and estimate the DH size from this value? Or do spec...

[LLVMdev] Ask for help with FreeBSD bootloader, aka #6627
Hi, In FreeBSD, we aim for replacing gcc with clang. We can compile all of the base system except the loader which does not fit within the hardware limits (7680 bytes). Currently (r127066) clang/llvm is missing the target by 5 bytes. Thus it's 5 bytes from us being able to compile all of FreeBSD with clang (and replace gcc with clang). There's #6627 (http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=6627) that if fixed would get us well over the limit (by sav...

That will wait until August. If you have patches waiting on some final tweaks or any other work that you feel like just *has* to be in the 2.6 series, please get it filed with us ASAP. Right now the
