MIPS optimizations
I suggest you try it. I do know that it requires the dsp extensions, but it may work on a 24k. Just change the -march=74kc and see if it works. MIPS optimizations
All those running Opus on MIPS should be interested in some new MIPS-specific optimizations contributed by Imagination Technologies. For now you will need to use Makefile.mips to build. Feedback on this new code is welcome. Cheers, Jean-Marc

The logs are showing multiple instances of: Unable to convert SID (S-1-5-11) at index 5 in user token to a GID. The semaphore timeout period has expired
...box (old server) that was copying the files displays the error "The semaphore timeout period has expired" and no shares can be accessed. The files being copied during crash were different sizes (i thought it might be because of huge files) : 1st crash the file was 380Mb, second crash 74k. I checked log.smbd and there do not seem to be any error messages (just connect and close messages). Is it possible that this is not actually a samba problem? (possibly a network driver problem - it is an Asustek 3c940 1000Base? - using module sk98lin) Thanks,

*.c32 for efi64 and efi32?
Dear Syslinux developers, I'd like to continue the discussion about this: http://www.syslinux.org/archives/2014-February/021659.html i.e. different directories for *.c32 files of BIOS, EFI32, and EFI64. I am wondering why we can not have *.c32 for the COMBOOT files of BIOS, *.e32 for the COMBOOT files of EFI32 *.e64 for the COMBOOT files of EFI64 As now the ldlinux file of syslinux 6.0x has,

can''t boot 2009.06 domU on Xen 3.4.1 / CentOS 5.3 dom0
I''ve got a CentOS 5.3 dom0 with Xen 3.4.1-rc5 (or so). I''ve tried the same stuff below with 3.4.0, no difference. I''m trying to install 2009.06 PV domU based on instructions from [1] and [2]. I can run the install fine, I can also get the kernel and boot archive (from [2]) after the install. But for the life of me I can''t get the installed domU to boot. If I

LoadOEMResource crash [Was: Re: Problem report: SHRINKER.ERR, fix to DEVICE_Open/CreateFileA? ]
Hi Pavel, Right, my app also crashes in a different place under winedbg, although it crashes in the same winedbg place under gdb. I took a closer look at wine --winver nt40 --debugmsg +all. I found something interesting. If I search for queue_exception, I find that there is an exception raised before the LoadOEMCall, about 328klines in: 0806d398:Call

Elliptic curves in tinc
In the past 24 hours multiple persons have contacted me regarding the use of elliptic curve cryptography in tinc 1.1 in light of the suspicion that the NSA might have weakened algorithms and/or elliptic curves published by NIST. The new protocol in tinc 1.1 (SPTPS) uses ECDH and ECDSA to do session key exchange and authentication, in such a way that it has the perfect forward secrecy (PFS)

The security id structure is invalid
I recently upgraded Samba on my DC from a working 4.3 installation to 4.5.0. Once done, I followed the instructions here: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Updating_Samba#Fixing_replPropertyMetaData_Attributes and ran: samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix --yes After that, I can no longer access the shares on this machine. I get the "Security ID structure is invalid" error above. In
