Function Body / Formals Bug (PR#7495)
I'd like to report two bugs in the R function definitions, the first
slightly problematic, the second likely unimportant. Both of these are
reproducible on both Windows and Linux, R 2.0.1
First Bug:
> a <- new("function")
> formals(a) <- alist(a=, b=, c=, d=)
> a
function (a, b, c) ## the d argument disappeared!
> formals(a) <- alist(a=, b=, c=, d=)

Icecast on OS X
Long, long ago, in a galaxy far away, I compiled and installed Icecast
on OS X. However, after building from the latest source, I'm seeing an
error on launch. The error relates to the poll() function (which
apparently isn't functional in OS X):
poll.c:282: failed assertion `pArray != (struct pollfd *) NULL'
Did I compile wrong? Is this a known issue? Anyone successfully build

Type of number in outgoing SETUP frame
...9;318989263037666' ]
NPI should be ISDN/Telephony Numbering Plan (E.164/E.163) and TON:
Unknown Number Type (0).
My current chan_dahdi settings:
switchtype=euroisdn
pridialplan=dynamic
prilocaldialplan=unknown
unknownprefix = 3189
internationalprefix = +8
nationalprefix = +7
;localprefix = +7495
;privateprefix = +7499
Seems that 'unknownprefix' do not affect.
I don't know how to influence on TON correctly and couldn't find this
information in Internet.
Thanks for your attention!

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
For those interested, the beryl packages from Fedora-Extras (FC6) will
install cleanly and run perfectly on CentOS 5.
For it running here on a Duron 1600, 512MB RAM and GForce 4 MX440.
Snappy as it gets.

Full text search indexing
...addr"
- Open all the messages that are left in the UID list and drop out the
messages where the whole "address" word doesn't exist.
I think searching the words backwards usually finds fewer hits and makes
the search faster.
As for the index sizes, indexing my dovecot mbox with 7495 messages and
size of 32479980 bytes it produced:
dovecot.index.search : 2166526 bytes
dovecot.index.search.uids : 6074155 bytes
So that's about 25% of the mailbox size. Last I checked, Cyrus Squat
took about 120% (with different messages). Anyway as you can see the
uids file is larger than th...

New full text search indexer
...ext is indexed as bytes, but the path depth can be counted as
characters instead of as bytes.
I've a test program finished, and unless there are some bugs left I
think it shows that this can work pretty well:
Squat-like 4 byte substrings (but can answer 1-3 char queries also):
Message count: 7495
Index time: 4.19 CPU seconds (7.39MB/CPUs)
Node memory: 3014072 bytes (2943 kB) in 90550 nodes
UID memory: 8277212 bytes (8083 kB) in 352778 lists
Total: 11291284 / 32474899 bytes = 34.77%
Indexing the same mailbox file with squat-test gives:
- Index time: 9.55 CPU seconds, 9.63 real seconds (3....
