I just started having an issue with PXELinux with one particular model of computer. The issue appears to occur on Dell Optiplex 740 computers, and any disk image that we try to boot with PXE Linux comes up with a Boot Disk Failure for two images or Cannot Load Kernel error for Dell Diagnostics. The error only appears to occurs on the Optiplex 740 model. I've tested PXE Linux and our boot disk images with Dell Latitude E64...

Hi there, We had to setup a pxelinux on a new server (windows 2012) and used the latest release of pxelinux 6.0.2. Everything went ok on my first client test machine : dell optiplex 740. Pxe was really fast (vesamenu with large background image was appearing in less than 3 secondes) But on different client machine i got different results : On optiplex 790 (core i5 with intel 82579 nic) and 380 (core 2 duo with bcm 57xx), it takes 1 minute for the menu to appear. Hi, We only have Dell computers here. We have about 100 optiplex 380. Here is a link to download my wireshark traces : http://dl.free.fr/qgCPEM5Uo In this traces i tested pxelinux and lpxelinux 6.03 on optiplex 740(the one working) and optiplex 380. pxelinux works on both computers but very slowly on 380 as seen in traces. lpxelinux works only on 740.
