Speex and the ARM7 Core
...llo, I'm sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this question but what I'm looking for is any data on the reality of Speex working on an ARM7 core? I'm looking at doing a few diffrent projects where I will be using a proc such as the LPC2378 with the ARM7TDMI-S core running at 72Mhz (although errata show only 60Mhz is currenlty possible). Do you know if there is a port that will work on this core? Thanks,Brett _________________________________________________________________ Connect to the next generation of MSN Messenger? http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/default...

OPUS on Cortex-M4
Hi, I would like to use OPUS codec to compress and decompress an audio stream for full-duplex intercom application; I would like to use a microcontroller equipped with Cortex-M4 core without NEON running at 72MHz. Does the OPUS codec works fine on that architecture? Do you have some benchmark data? Thank you in advance. Best regards. Speex on M3 for a device for a disabled person to use
I am trying to develop a device for a disabled person and need low bitrate voice, speex looks good, however I need to find optimized M3 code and can not, searched online all over, I use Keil also if that helps. My M3 is 128kbps/64kram 72mhz, i only need to do a encode in one part and decode in another..... Please let me know if you can help this project with a link to optimized code Thanks! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Porting Speex to embedded 32bit
Dear Speex developers I am going to port Speex on LPC2368 I tested Speex encoding and the mesurments shows ~40ms cpu time for one frame Do you know who ported speex to NXP or other 32bit platform? I've done some testing with an Atmel AT91SAM7S at 55MHz and IAR 4 compiler with no luck....

Porting Speex to embedded 32bit
...processor ;) It uses less then 50% cpu for encode+decode at reasonable settings for a simple phone, could the rest be used for AEC and AGC? Thanks a lot, Alain Pietro Maggi escreveu: > But on a speedier ARM it can be done.
