More libshout questions
Okay, I am using libshout to stream to a NullSoft Shoutcast server. I am using libmad and libmp3lame to do re-encoding on the fly. I am streaming to the server (currently) with shout_send_raw(). When I try to use shout_metadata_add(), I get a segfault in strdup(). Anyone have any ideas as to why? Everything else works fine, just not the metadata. Thanks In Advance, Deven --- >8 ----

GRUB and vga=788
Hi, On a minimal (e. g. without X) server install, one of the first things I do is add 'vga=788' to the 'kernel' line in /boot/grub/menu.lst, so I can use the framebuffer in 800x600 mode and have a better readability in console mode. However, I tried this on my minimal CentOS 5 install, and right after GRUB, the screen just blanks. I add that this (test) machine ran maybe a

Segmentation fault
Hi! I'm running NUT 2.0.4 and occasionally I get a segfault when starting newhidups and if I don't get a segfault when starting newhidups the process starts eating away at my memory. I sat down trying to genererate -DDDDD debug info, but just because of that I can't get it to do a segfault. So until I can, has things changed in the development version, that might have fixed this?

Is this because most of you work on MI did not make it into the 3.3 release?

[LLVMdev] Experimental Evaluation of the Schedulers in LLVM 3.3
Hi Andy, We have done some experimental evaluation of the different schedulers in LLVM 3.3 (source, BURR, ILP, fast, MI). The evaluation was done on x86-64 using SPEC CPU2006. We have measured both the amount of spill code as well as the execution time as detailed below. Here are our main findings: 1. The SD schedulers significantly impact the spill counts and the execution times for many
