Windows 10 does not register dns in samba 4.3.4
...samba 4.3.4 on centos 6 and I recognized that new windows 10
clients do not register dns . Windows 8.1 and below do with no issue.
Do I have to configure something special in my smb.conf?

Make will die with an error concerning "vfs modul glusterfs".
There should be more documentation about the "vfs modul glusterfs".

For all running in the same error:
This solved my problem. In smb.conf --> interfaces = eth0
And all is up and running perfect!!

...ur second I-provider line and samba4 with bind_dlz worked again and registered all machines.
So if my forwarders not work my samba ads will not work correctly too!?
There need to be a fix for that.

samba4 registry
Hello,
?
I can read/access the registry on my samba 4.1.6 server, but I get a ?permission denied? if I write to some locations.
Also, I cannot change the permissions.
?
Is there any documentation about the registry on a samba4 server?
?

Samba over VPN
Have a 2003 server located outside of the Domain network over a VPN.
The server originally existed inside the network (10.1.1.0/24) but now
exists on 10.10.12.0/24. I can access shares over the VPN to the domain
controller, but when I try to log in as a domain user it says the domain
is unavailable.
I added the domain controller as a WINS server on the 2003 server.
nbtstat -c on the 2003 does
