Directories not writable (Apache/PHP)
Hi,
I have a new CentOS sever install. I've also installed suPHP to
replicate a live server.
When I upload file via FTP the permissions seem OK, however the
directories copied are not writable?? Any ideas?
I have tried chmod 777 and that's not working either. Could is be a
suPHP issue?
I have 'suPHP_UserGroup GROUP USER' setup in my virtual directory and

Wondershaper stops limiting outbound traffic
...t 400kilobits (my line is 600kbps).
I do a lot of torrent seeding and I dont want my pings killed when I''m
uploading so I set low prority source ports as follows (by the way, I have
bittornet to only use ports 6881-6910):
NOPRIOPORTSRC="6881 6882 6883 6884 6885 6886 6887 6888 6889 6890 6891 6892

6908 6909 6910"
Problem is, sometimes my upload will be limited to 50kb/s and others it''ll be
maxed. This is with wondershaper running too! (verified by ./wshaper
status).

5.0: installing everything
I realize that the @everything packages option is now gone in CentOS 5.0
(ix86 and x86_64), but my experiments to date don't show how to
practically simulate the same effect (and I have a good reason for doing
so). I want all packages, all languages. If one installs from CD, and
