CentOs 7 i386 & PAE Kernel

Patches > accepted :D > > https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=6828 So with what I know now (thank you!) I recon the mainline 4.14 is probably a better tested path for a 32-bit x86 PAE kernel, rather than starting at RHEL 7. And since you are already building that kernel it's good news all round :-) Kind Regards, Mike -- wavemobile Warning: The informatio...

...tainer environments. (CVE-2016-4998, Moderate) * A use-after-free vulnerability was found in tcp_xmit_retransmit_queue and other tcp_* functions. This condition could allow an attacker to send an incorrect selective acknowledgment to existing connections, possibly resetting a connection. (CVE-2016-6828, Moderate) Bug Fix(es): * When parallel NFS returned a file layout, a kernel crash sometimes occurred. This update removes the call to the BUG_ON() function from a code path of a client that returns the file layout. As a result, the kernel no longer crashes in the described situation. (BZ#1385480...

Centos 7 newer kernel needed
Hi Xlord, Yes, the CPU has support for EPT. I wrongly thought that the nested EPT was first introduced in 3.12. Following your instructions I see that I have it enabled on my system as well. However, checking the kernel commits from 3.12 on search string 'nested ept' I found about 10 code changes/fixes for nested EPT.

...ls .. we rebuild the source code that Red Hat releases for RHEL. We do maintain several kernels on our own .. 1. CentOS Plus kernel .. We add patches there, but it would need to be backported if it does not apply. We use this bug to maintain the Plus Kernel: https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=6828 2. Kernel in the AltArch tree .. We have to use a different kernel for armhfp, and we also build it for other CentOS arches .. it lives at: http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/kernel/ This kernel is based on a kernel.org LTS kernel (currently 4.14.x) and if that patch gets rolled into the LTS str...

predict.lm with new regressor names
Hi all, Suppose: y<-rnorm(100) x1<-rnorm(100) lm.yx<-lm(y~x1) To predict from a new data source, one can use: # works as expected dum<-data.frame(x1=rnorm(200)) predict(lm.yx, newdata=dum) Suppose lm.yx has been run and we have the lm object. And we have a dataframe that has columns that don't correspond by name to the original regressors. I very! naively assumed that doing

Is there a way in centos 4 or 5 to have one application receive all keyboard events - no matter what is running. Some applications bind keys etc... and I need to get those keys no matter what and not have the application see them at all. Is there a way to do that? Jerry

detect agfl count corruption and reset agfl
Hi there, My apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, but I was wondering if anyone had any information on whether or not the following patch has or will make its way into the CentOS Kernel? https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10283095/ We are currently experiencing this problem with the latest version of CloudLinux (based on CentOS), so I believe it isn't currently included.
