Bad packet length problem with "aes128-cbc" and openssh3.1p1
Hi, I am trying to run openssh 3.1p1. But it is giving "Bad packet length" error when I run sshd with default config file. On further investigation I found that the error is coming only for the cipher algorithm "aes128-cbc". Also the error comes only when I don't specify any protocol file (/usr/local/etc/ssh_host_[rd]sa_key) or specify only "protocol 2" files. I

vncviewer package wit hcentos 5
I have xkeybindings running just fine on centos 5. I have vncviewer running in full screen mode showing another PC. When vncviewer is running is running it seems to override my xkeybindings. Is there a way to tell vncviewer to not bind to any keys?? The only keys I am binding is on the Keypad 3,4,6, 9 and Enter. Nothing that vncviewer uses anyway. How can I still have my xkeybindings active

Protecting against kernel NULL-pointer derefs
All, Given the amount of NULL-pointer dereference vulnerabilities in the FreeBSD kernel that have been discovered of late, I've started looking at a way to generically protect against the code execution possibilities of such bugs. By disallowing userland to map pages at address 0x0 (and a bit beyond), it is possible to make such NULL-pointer deref bugs mere DoS'es instead of code

dialplan issue - 1& 0 should be evaluated false
Helo List, Sorry I missed the rest of my email in my previous post. Please see below. I'm having an issue using the AND (&) operator evaluation in the code of my dialplan. The dial plan is coded to detect inbound DTMF digits from callers. key "1" is equivalent to "yes" and key "2" is equivalent to "no" in two diferent contexts in the dial plan.

patches for xiph build setup
Hi, I offered some time ago to do some build cleanup. Today I did so and here's my slew of patches. Basically, they - touch ogg, vorbis, vorbis-tools and theora - fix a bunch of autotools issues - uniformize the use of them across the four - fix compile/link flags - use pkgconfig if it's available to detect flags - for vorbis-tools, generate and use config.h - add -uninstalled .pc stuff
