DEVICE_STATE() and Asterisk 1.6.0.10
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I must be missing something here but I can't figure out why I can't get DEVICE_STATE() to give me anything other than "NOT_INUSE". I have two extensions: 6666 and 6668. I used 6668 to make a call to yet another phone, so I know that it's busy. I then use 6666 to call 6668 and in the dialplan have a noop to see what DEVICE_STATE() is returning for both extensions. I get: [Jul 15 17:20:43] -- Executing [6668 at sip-deskset:1] NoOp("SIP/66...

[PATCH] Remove explicit guestfs=10.0.2.4:6666 kernel command line parameter.
...ith_ocaml_on_red_hat_and_fedora -------------- next part -------------- >From 45630d4ac47511c5c0dc55a22fadba4b9236bf61 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Richard Jones <rjones at trick.home.annexia.org> Date: Tue, 15 Sep 2009 17:14:44 +0100 Subject: [PATCH 4/5] Remove explicit guestfs=10.0.2.4:6666 kernel command line parameter. Since we control the appliance tightly, we can just specify that it will always use a particular host and port, and we don't need to pass it on the command line each time. Also the VMCHANNEL_* constants are only relevant to the particular guestfwd vmchannel impl...

Rsync via two ssh tunnels possible (standard method mentioned k times not possible?)
...dge with tunnel for next ssh v Ssh connect to DST host via bridge. No direct connection SRC/DST is possible, the ssh keys only reside on base host and cannot be copied to any other host. My idea was to create ssh tunnels (plain port forward) from DST:4444 to base:5555, base:5555 to SRC:6666 (result tunnel DST:4444->SRC:6666) and run on SRC: nc -lp 6666 -e rsync --server -a . . and something like that at DST rsync -a rsync://localhost:4444/ . but that fails on src side with: protocol version mismatch -- is your shell clean? sshd options - centos 5.3
I have installed cento 5.3. I enabled the ssh deamon. I have found that 2 options that I normally use does respond as I expect. Has anyone else had similar problems with the following options in sshd_config: - Port 6666 - if I set the port to anything other than 22 (default), using ssh -p6666 name at servername, does not work. Yet if I leave keep the default, then ssh name at servername allows me to login. - PasswordAuthentication no - if I set this option to "no" (default is "yes"), and my s...

IAX2 REACHABLE/UNREACHABLE
...le of minutes there is about a second of silence. Silence suppression is turned off on all phones (Grandstream BT101s). This issue does not occur during SIP calls. I do have a similar registration problem with SIP. There are two phones on one site that go reachable/unreachable. (See extension 6666 in the sample below. This is a B101 that is registered to my server, but it happens to be at the same location as the second * server.) If anyone can point me in the right direction for troubleshooting, I would appreciate it. I am pasting example error messages that I receive below. TIA,...

bind() on 127.0.0.1 in jail: bound to the outside address?
Dear folks, It seems that doing bind() inside a jail (whose IP address is an outside address), will result in some wierd behavior, that the actual bind is done on the outside address. For example, binding to 127.0.0.1:6666 inside a jail addressed 192.168.1.1, will finally result in a bind to 192.168.1.1:6666. With this in mind, it is possible that some formerly secure configuration fail in jail environment. It seems that our implementation will forward every loopback connection to the outside address. A simple hac...

iconnecthere behind NAT, strange deal
...hem the version of my PC phone. When I say I don't have one, they say, "Sorry, we only help those who do." I like to play with their GSM stuff, so I hate to let the account go, but if no one here knows what might be going on, they certainly don't. FWIW I used to prepend "6666" to the dialed number, and it worked fine until last week. Thx. B.

tabulating 2 factors weighting by a third var
Hi, This must be an easy one but so far I haven't find a way out... I have a data frame such as: $ v1 : Factor w/ 5 levels $ v2 : Factor w/ 2 levels $ v3 : Class 'difftime' atomic [1:6666] basically v1 and v2 are factors, while v3 is a variable containing the duration of certain activities (values ranging from 11 to 45000 sec, no missing values) How can I get a table such that v1 levels will show as rows, v2 levels as columns and v3 is the weight by which table(v1,v2) is weighted?...

Asterisk as Cisco Call-Manager - dial out to PSTN
Hi all, I'm running Asterisk since two days, and it's really one of the phatest software available on the net!!! Respect!!! I have connected Asterisk as a call manager for a cisco gatekeeper. Everything works fine internal, but if I want to ring to a PSTN over another call manager, which is connected over ISDN, I get the following output. Has anyone experience in this or can help me?

Bad packet length problem with "aes128-cbc" and openssh3.1p1
Hi, I am trying to run openssh 3.1p1. But it is giving "Bad packet length" error when I run sshd with default config file. On further investigation I found that the error is coming only for the cipher algorithm "aes128-cbc". Also the error comes only when I don't specify any protocol file (/usr/local/etc/ssh_host_[rd]sa_key) or specify only "protocol 2" files. I
