sqlFetch doesn't read the whole objects.
Hi everyone, I connected a data in FileMaker server with odbcConnect. When I call the data "CANCERS" using sqlFetch, it looks okay. However, the number of obs was different with the actual number. If I read the same data from Microsoft Access, there are 656 obs. in it but srt() shows me 600 obs. Does anyone know why this happened and how to read all obs. from R? Thank you in advance. EJ > psb<-odbcConnect("PSB",uid="XXX",pwd="XXXXXXX") > cancers<-sqlFetch(psb,"CANCERS") > str(cancers) 'da...

Metadata socket read error
Howdy, I've had tinc working great for over a year now. They just made some network changes at work and now I'm only able to make a connection for a few seconds(30) or so before I get a "Metadata socket read error". I wan't to think that's some kind of firewall timeout thing but I'm not sure. I have no control over the FW or network at work so I'm not clear on

Packet loss with LocalDiscovery
Hi, I believe I have found a bug with regard to the LocalDiscovery feature. This is on tinc-1.1pre7 between two Windows nodes. Steps to reproduce: - Get two nodes talking using LocalDiscovery (e.g. put them on the same LAN behind a NAT with no metaconnection to each other) - Make one ping the other. Expected result: - The two nodes should ping each other without any packet loss, hopefully at

ext3 and standard rh 7.2 distro - assert failure : line 656 of transaction.c

The messages occur mostly under sendmail/procmail and mention assert failure at line 656 of transaction.c I've installed all rpms from redhat's update ftp and I was wondering if this is a kernel/ext3 problem and which version/steps would you recommend me in order to solve the problem. best regards - Robert __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? kerberos got crazy after ubuntu upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04
Hi! I had to upgrade my PDC from 14.04 to 16.04 Ubuntu. The samba version stayed the same, but then some crazy miracles started to happen. 4.3.11+dfsg-0ubuntu0.16.04.6 I cannot log in now with my Windows machines, yet I can view the files on Linux using smbclient. ...different for a home usage and I have a question regarding security. The setup would look like as follows: - My home LAN has a classical topology where my ISP router is doing NAT and is blocking all incoming connection. I'm planning to enable port forwarding on the router: port 655 (tinc) and 656 (ssh) to a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian. It would have a static IP. - The ssh daemon listening on port 656 on the Rapsberry Pi will be hardened (only one user can login, strong password, protocol 2 only, fail2ban installed, etc.). - Tinc daemon will be listening on port 655. - I would use a DDNS s...
