Handling dates
I have a problem with some functions handling dates, in packages 'date' and 'survival' (they seem to be identical). For instance, from the documentation, -------------------- mdy.date {survival} R Documentation Convert to Julian Dates Description Given a month, day, and year, returns the number of days since January 1, 1960. Usage mdy.date(month, day, year, nineteen = TRUE,

uid/gid not being used when logging into RHEL -> Windows Server 2012 Active Directory
I am using samba/winbind to connect a RHEL5.8 linux box to a new Windows Server box which has Unix Identity Mapping installed. So I have all the uidNumber/gidNumber stuff in the windows schema. I am able to login but I am not getting the right uid/gid. My AD uids start at around 800. FYI I am new to winbind. Apparently the ID mapping has changed again in samba 3.6 but I'm not really

Problem with mysql...
Hello, I am trying to run dovecot on my Linux. I am using an exim 3.30 as the MTA with vmail-sql virtual users. I have installed latest dovecot release and ran through the config file. Some options seemed unclear to me, but generally I think it is OK. The problem is, that MySQL authentication does not work. It even does not try to authenticate! Dovecot connects correctly with MySQL database,

Using a single class multiple times
Hi- Recently starting using puppet while migrating an existing messy group of systems to some nice new hardware. Things are going incredibly well, and puppet''s functioning great. Have a bit of a headache. I''d like to keep myself from duplicating lots of included classes. Lets say I have this (snippet of a) class: class dbserver { file { "/etc/my_${db}.cnf":

WoW Performance - Degrades over Time
Hi All, I've posted for some suggestions in the WoW forums, but it's been suggested that I post here as well, as I'm more likely to get someone who has a clue :) PROBLEM ====== After an extended play time in one area (~ 1 hour), or rapid travel between areas, the performance degrades substantially. It goes from 60+ FPS to about 5FPS and doesn't recover until I restart the game.

I am not sure where to look to correct this problem. Here's the error: Post-processing the contents Error in .Call("RS_XML_Parse", file, handlers, endElementHandlers, as.logical(addContext), :
