Examining /proc/iomem does show that the dom0 memory allocation is
actually 64kb short of 6144Mb:

2 Problems with new Games (COD4 & CnC3)
...em with the Drivers.
Both Games aber in the AppDB marked as runable, and I'm not very good in Linux (use it since the last Windows Crash) to resolve the Problems on myself.
My System:
Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex (Need the new Kernel for my HDD Controller)
Intel Core2Duo E6600 @ 3.0ghz
DDR2-667 6144mb
MSI P45 Platinum Mainboard
nVidia GeForce 9800 GX2 (Driver Version 177 Beta)
It's completely updated and all system Resources are supported. My Wine Version is the current 1.0.

Doubt on XEN memory management: please clarify
...=1024M implies that ''xl list'' shows that the dom0 has got 1024MB of
RAM reserved for itself. Are the remaining 7GB available for the domUs and the
host operating system?
i.e.:
this could be the case study:
1024M for the dom0
1024M for domU1
2048M for domU2
2048M for domU3
Total: 6144MB "occupied"
So, the 2 remaining GB would be available for the System or other 1/2 domUs
with 1/2GB of RAM each.
Of course memory ballooning helps to not crash the dom0, so the total amount
of assigned memory would hopefully be never at saturation point, but what does
