This is sort of working -- but I can't get it to do a 4k output. Not sure how the monitor resolution is detected - This monitor is supposed to do 3480x1200 60hz 4:4:4 But the info I get from hwinfo is different. How does nouveau get this information? If it is from an ID - with a list - the list is probably is wrong. # hwinfo --monitor 95: None 00.1: 10002 LCD Monitor [Created at monitor.97] Unique ID: jyhG.h9Zsh40fFW2 Hardware Class: monitor...

I still only get 30Hz. I did just update the tv firmware s9 maybe that is why I can't get it 60Hz anymore. I wish I kept better track of the timeline. With the new HDMI 2 cable I get 4096x2160 at 30Hz (there is no 60Hz option). 3840x2160 at 59.9685Hz gives me no signal. > That should ensure > that the SCDC write can go through at modeset time. > > You can also force nouveau to a...

Help 60Hz Hum?
Hey guys, I am trying to diagnose a hum in my FXO lines I am using an Adtran 750 with 8 FXO ports. I am getting a pretty bad hum on the line during a call. I have checked the Telco side of the 66 block and there is no hum there so it's my problem to fix. I have tried to lower the gain but that reduces the call volume to much. Where else should I be looking? Setup as follows Dell

How do you set the refresh frequency for the X server?
During the kickstart installation of the CentOS 4.3 systems I recently built, anaconda probed for the video card (Intel 945) and monitor (NEC MultiSync 2070NX). The optimal setting for this monitor is 1600x1200 @ 60Hz. The X server is configured to use 1600x1200, but it is using a higher refresh rate, which causes the monitor to display an error message, and it also locks you out of the on-screen- menu. How do you translate a 60Hz refresh frequency into the appropriate horizontal sync and vertical refre...
