ZFS Support for remote mirroring
Does ZFS support any type of remote mirroring? It seems at present my only two options to achieve this would be Sun Cluster or Availability Suite. I thought that this functionality was in the works, but I haven''t heard anything lately. Thanks! PRI got event: HDLC Abort (6) on Primary, D-channel of span 1
I also experienced this problem and the first thing that really helped out was changing the timing in the span line of the zaptel.conf. Change it to look like this (see below) and see if it helps out. I got the error much less after doing this and eventually got rid of the error completely by removing my raid drives, installing an IDE drive, enabling DMA mode on the Hard Drive, enabling APCI in

Hardware serial number access from (a) command(s)
Over the weekend, I had to make a technical support call on one of my DVD burners, and at one point the recorded message mentioned I should have my serial number handy. I thought there was a way to read that from at least one piece of software on the system, but I couldn't remember one and man -k on a number of subjects was unrevealing. Can someone enlighten me (us)? Thanks. mhr
