Removing duplicates without a for loop
...re rows of with the same tracking number but different
dates. I wrote a for loop that will keep the row with the oldest date but it
is extremely slow.
Any suggestions of how I should write this so that it is faster?

No access check deleting printer drivers
Hello list!
On all my samba installations (3.0.20b) I can delete all unused printer
drivers with rpcclient regardless which user name or password i use.
Is this a general feature or might it depend on my settings?

Glusterfs/CTDB/Samba file locking problem
...file is already opened. Unfortunately this does not
happen when he opens the same file on the second server.
I can see that the file opening process gets distributed through ctdb to the second server when I use

[LLVMdev] clang .code16 with -Os producing larger code that it needs to

I found out that it generates a 16-bit code bigger than gas counterpart
and result gets too big for size constraints of bootsector. This was
traced mainly to 2 problems.

Samba 3.0.20b and Win NT 4
...when I try to browse network with Windows NT 4.0. I can connect to
any PC on network by `\\PCNAME' command. I can use 'Find PC' on NT.
But can't browse network!

Win2k Domain logons
Hi everyone. I just got a copy of Win2k in and have been messing with it.
Have a question, and have searched the archives for the answer, but didn't
find it. Can Win2k domain logon to a pre-3.0.0 samba server? Or di I
need to get TNG running? I can get NT4.0 boxes to authenticate and login
fine (Samba pre-3.0.0), but Win2k keeps complaining:

xenbr0 / domU static IPs
Hi, I have a new xen hosting platform. I have given the bridge a static IP which I can ping/ssh to etc, when I create a new vm all works well apart from the networking. If I give DomU a static IP I can''t ping out from the box, Dom0 can''t ping the vm. I''m suspecting it just isn''t seeing the bridge but am unsure where to start looking. This is a very standard
