about timeouts
...: SHA1 Hi folks, I've this infrastructure: |voip services| -- |*| -- |cme| -- |isdn| the voip services are logged on my *, then forwarded to number 601 on cme. The isdn calls too are forwarded to 601. On cme I've a timeout X for call-forward noan (no answer) to a specific number on * (5901) that is my x-lite software client. If 5901 is unreacheable the call is forwarded to voicemail (always on *) --> u601 Tests: - - for isdn calls all works great, even if X=30sec - - for voip services: if X=20sec, and 5901 is unreacheable, all works fine; if X=30sec, I've a tear down witho...

VNC server not reponding to external requests
Hello everyone: I tried following the instructions on this page to set up a VNC server: http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/VNC-Server I can telnet to port 5901 from the machine itself: # telnet 127.0.0.1 5901 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to 127.0.0.1. Escape character is '^]'. RFB 003.008 But, when I try to connect to it from the outside world, I get a connection timeout. My /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file does not have the -nolisten tcp nor the...

Round Robin Strategy doesn't seem to work
Hi, I have configured a call queue as follows: [sales] music = default strategy = roundrobin timeout = 20 retry = 5 reportholdtime = yes announce = queue-sales member => Agent/9021 member => Agent/5901 member => Agent/9020 member => Agent/1114 Now, I would expect all calls to this queue to be delivered first to 9021, then to 5901, then to 9020, then to 1114 (all agents are logged in and available). However, what actually happens is that the first call to the queue is delivered first to 90...

Port forwarding for KVM
...the web is for "tap" interface, and I can use "hostfwd" QEMU option if I use "user" interface. For the latter approach, I basically follow this one [1] with the QEMU cmdline option below: <qemu:commandline> <qemu:arg value='-net user,hostfwd=::5902-:5901'/> </qemu:commandline> But virsh always keep saying: error: internal error Process exited while reading console log output: kvm: -net user,hostfwd=::5902-:5901: invalid option What I am missing here? I also found there was a patch for user mode port forwarding [2]. Does tha...

XCP: problem connecting to VNC for first VM installation
Hello, I''ve launched my first guest installation on XCP and I would like to know how to see the installation process through VNC. On the XCP: # netstat -lnatp |grep vnc tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:5900 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 7867/vncterm tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:5901 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 8928/vncterm So, there is something listening for incoming vnc connections but I can''t connect. I am trying to setup a virtual machine remotely, but if I do: vncviewer XCP_IP_ADDRESS I get: unable connect to socket: No route to host (113) but it i...

VNC ports
I am needing to explicitly assign VNC ports to my virtual guests so that I can connect to them externally via a VNC client, and not virt-viewer. Since I will have multiple KVM Hosts with access to the same shared storage (to facilitate migrations) I need to ensure I have unique VNC ports assigned to each guest so that I don't overlap somehow. I had planned to use a range of ports starting at
