Bad merge of r5686 from trunk to 1.2-pre-release?
...source commits, but please bare with me. I will keep it short. Recently, changeset#5685 [1] caught my attention as I''ve been waiting for some date_helper love for a VERY long time. What bothered me is that when this changeset was merged into the 1.2- pre-release branch (at changeset#5686 [2]) a change to caching.rb crept in [3], which was not in the original patch. I didn''t notice a roll back in the revision log of caching.rb so I am assuming, no one has noticed yet? -christos [1] http://dev.rubyonrails.org/changeset/5685 [2] http://dev.rubyonrails.org/changeset/568...

subsetting with by() or other function??
I think I must be missing something obvious, but I'm having trouble getting a data transformation to work on groupings of data within a data frame (csss3) as defined by 2 factors (population, locid). The data are sorted by year within locid within population and I want to lag another variable (dbc), i.e, shift them down by 1 row replacing the first row with NA, within groups defined by

Calling voicemail from external phone.
Hey. How would I set up my dialplan if a user wants to call its voicemail from an external phone? I'm thinking of getting the user to enter its mailbox number. Something like this: 1. User calls the dedicated voicemail number. 2. Phone prompts for mailbox number. 3. Voicemail(${mailboxnr}@context) Thanks.

Dynamically setting up/tearing down extensions
Hello, * newbie here, I'm designing a setup that is to eventually be used in a production virtual PBX/VoIP service. Customers need to be able to change their setups over the web - I want them to be able to do simple things like setting up call forwarding, as well as more intricate stuff that will require me to re-generate their dialplans. Administration of the service is to be

PuppetDB: SSL problems
Hi all, I''m setting up puppetdb to for storing facts et cetera. I installed puppetdb-1.3.0-1.el6.noarch.rpm on my puppetdb.local host (which is puppetized). This seems to work, service starts :). When I edit the settings on my puppetmaster (puppet.local), something goes wrong. I am following the guide [1]. I put the settings (storeconfigs = true, storeconfigs_backend=puppetdb) on my
