Samba is running alright with me, smbclient works fine, but I would like to print from my Linux box over LAN to a printer (HP 560C) connected to a win2k box. Just spent this evening getting printing setup off my FreeBSD machine (oh, how I love Solaris at these times *groan*)...got it now so that I can print directly from Netscape, color and graphics and all. Hi, I've been toying with the idea of using the Linux machine as a print server. I'm using RedHat 5.2 and Samba 2.0.3. I already have one remote printer share working... but I can't figure out where the PrintTool in RedHat is storing the remote printers IP address. Hi! I've been struggling with this install of Samba 2.0.4b on Linux/x86 2.0.36. All of the client machines run Windows NT 4, SP 3. I'm exporting /tmp as pub, and if I right click in the folder and create a new folder, it doesn't show up until I go to 'view' and 'refresh'. If I delete something, it doesn't go away until I refresh. Why? Output of testparm:
