Need some clarifications regarding VT-d requirements for PCI passthrough in Xen 4.1
...l this it that above this list of supported CPU''s and motherboards is the statement "Note that in addition to the motherboard chipset and BIOS also your CPU must have support for IOMMU IO virtualization (VT-d)!". It is ironic because the i55x0 chipset only supports Intel 5500 and 5600 Xeon CPU''s, which according to Intel, do NOT have VT-d support integrated. To my knowledge, Core i7 CPU''s can not be used (in a dual configuration) with i55x0 chipsets. In fact, if one looks at the specs of these 55x0 motherboards, one will only find support for 5500 and 5600 CPU&...

PDA's over SIP channels on Asterisk
Is it possible for two PDA's to communicate like telephones via SIP channels on a PC running Asterisk? If that is possible, does there exist any applications that can be installed on a Zaurus 5600, which is a PDA with an Xscale processor running on a Linux OS, that can essentially turn it into a softphone? Thanks in advance for any input, Daniel

"Succes" report for TDM400 and IBM Netfinity 5600
Hello! I just wanted to tell everyone that I have successfully used a TDM400 with an IBM Netfinity 5600 server. I used PCI Slot 3 (the first hot-swap PCI slot). I had a ServeRAID 3L controller in slot 1as well, which managed the server's array. Other than that, there was nothing extra installed. 2x667MHz PIII, 1GB RAM, 4 x 18GB hot-swap SCSI drives. The only problems I had were Ouch and P...
