zt hook failed: Device or resource busy
Hello,
I ordered the Devel lite kit, and installed it.
I am just trying to get the FXO port to work, and am having trouble.
To load the card I do the following.
modprobe wcfxs
modprobe wcfxo
ztcfg -vv

Redirects and keeping flash
My code that acts if a session has timed out looks like this:
reset_session
session[:expires_at] = nil
# TODO - This flash is never shown, because we redirect maybe?
flash[:error] = ''Your session has timed out, please login to
continue.''
# An attempt to make flash stick around, not working

Q about dpi, fonts, gnome, Xorg etc
...fix it up
again. But then the VNC session(s) are wrong.
My question is this - surely there's a way to tell gconf/gnome that my
dpi setting is for DISPLAY X. Please tell me it's not just a global
setting for all displays!!
Thanks

daemon user can't acess file while nobody user can.
I have a server where /home is on a nfs. I installed an apache (my compile)
server. By default, it runs as daemon. That user can't acces files in
/home/*/public_html, while the nobody user can. So if I change my apache
config, it now can.
/home is : drwxr-xr-x
/home/user is : drwxr-xr-x
/home/user/public_html is : drwxr-xr-x
selinux is disabled.
In the error log of apache I get :

SNMP monitoring options
Hi all,
Been using Cacti for monitoring various things like, system disk/mem/
proc, network usage, router usage etc...
While its been fun, the graphs are just unruly.
Was looking an OpsView (the free version), wondering what your
experience with this type of trend/heuristic analysis has been and
what what you like.
And of course thoughts on OpsView.

NIS binding probs w/Firewall and SELinux
I have RHEL5 Server originally configured and installed by me with Firewall
enabled, but passing through NFS, Samba, and SSH. I then disabled SELinux.
As you all likely recall, I had configured a test environment to get samba and
nfs/nis up and running. I got it going, and recently brought it to a
production server.
After modifying the files on the production server and rebooting, I'm

5.6 - SRPM's
Hi
Is there any ETA for the SRPM's from the base tree of 5.6? I need to
get my hands on the src for the centos-release package as i have to
rebuilt it to prevent the repo definitions from being included.
I see the src's for the updates RPM's but not the base.
many thanks

I've heard that other daemons support multi-names by instead of using gethostname(), obtain the hostname of the
interface that the request came in on.
Can either approach be looked at for dovecot ?
Thanks,

cross-platform email client
I'm a Thunderbird user almost since day one, but now I'm looking for
something else. For whatever reason, it doesn't work well for me - every
once in a while it becomes non-responsive (UI completely frozen for
several seconds, CPU usage goes to 100%) and I just can't afford to
waste time waiting for the email software to start working again.
My main desktop platform is Linux,

Unfortunately the only spot found is:
http://dovecot.org/pipermail/dovecot/2012-May/135636.html
Is it the same fd=# always? Is it already open in your script?
You could check with lsof -p $$...

Setting up a GUI remote access
Currently I have VNC running on my Windows desktop with Samba
providing access to my Linux server. Since Linux is more
reliable than Windows, I would like to be able to access my Linux
(Centos 5.5) via my Windows notebook - hopefully via VNC or some
similar application and then access the Windows desktop (if it is
not locked up :-) ) with Samba.
What is the best VNC like application to
