[PATCH] Increase HIVEX_MAX_VALUES
Hello, As we discussed briefly on IRC about a month ago, HKLM\SYSTEM\MountedDevices can contain greater than 55000 (HIVEX_MAX_VALUES) values if VMWare’s snapshot functionality is frequently used. This is due to an unintended interaction between Windows and VMWare’s snapshot functionality. VMware has a knowledge base article regarding this issue, although it does not directly mention MountedDevices: https://kb....

"Fast" correlation algorithm
Hi, Is in R any "fast" algorithm for correlation? What I mean is: I have very large dataset (microarray) with 55000 rows and 100 columns. I want to count correlation (p-value and cor.coef) between each row of dataset and some vector (of course length of this vector is equal to number of columns of dataset). In short words: For t-test we have: "normal" algorithm - t.test "fast" algorithm - row...

increasing HIVEX_MAX_SUBKEYS and HIVEX_MAX_VALUES
...approach would be to increase the limits to approximately 1.5 times the largest observed counts: • If we decide to go with the values observed from just the 'Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion' key in our cloud, then HIVEX_MAX_SUBKEYS would become 70000 and HIVEX_MAX_VALUES would become 55000. These are the initial values I was going to base my patch on, since (selfishly) that's all my code cares about, but I figured it makes more sense to account for all regions of the hive. • If we decide to go with the values from the whole software hive, then HIVEX_MAX_SUBKEYS would become 360...

Formatting Syntax when Merging
Hi, I've merged the attached two data sets, generating a final merged data set, but when I review this merged data, the dates are not in the correct order. I know that this can be solved by using something like fmt<-"%m/%d/%y", but where should this go in the commands below? > Countrydata<-read.table("Desktop/R/Countrydata.txt", head=T, sep="\t")

Hwo to disable the polling function of mac_srs
In crossbow, each mac_srs has a kernel thread called "mac_rx_srs_poll_ring" to poll the hardware and crossbow will wakeup this thread to poll packets from the hardware automatically. Does crossbow provide any method to disable the polling mechanism, for example disabling the this kernel thread?
