HostKey in hardware?
Hi,
Is there any way to store HostKey in hardware (and delegate the related
processing)?
I have been using Roumen Petrov's x509 patch for clients, which works via an
OpenSSL engine, but it does not seem to support server HostKey:
http://roumenpetrov.info/pipermail/ssh_x509_roumenpetrov.info/2012q4/000019.html
For PKCS#11, I have found an email on this list from a year back suggesting

[LLVMdev] PATCH (rest of code changes) "bytecode" --> "bitcode"
Here is the bulk of the sanitizing.
My residual doubts center around the question
whether we still do/want to support (un)compressed *byte*code
in 2.0/2.1.
I need a definitive word on this to proceed.
My understanding is that bytecode is already gone, but there are
still some functions/enums that really deal with *byte*code
(instead of *bit*code).
I did not touch those areas, so the attached

[PATCH 00/34] arch: barrier cleanup + __smp_XXX barriers for virt
This is really trying to cleanup some virt code, as suggested by Peter, who
said
> You could of course go fix that instead of mutilating things into
> sort-of functional state.
This work is needed for virtio, so it's probably easiest to
merge it through my tree - is this fine by everyone?
Arnd, if you agree, could you ack this please?
Note to arch maintainers: please don't

[PATCH 0/3] Add discard support.
These patches contain the beginnings of discard (a.k.a. trim or unmap)
support. This will allow us to change virt-sparsify to work on disk
images in-place (instead of using slow & inefficient copying).
The approach used is to add an optional 'discard' parameter to
add-drive. It has 3 possible settings:
- 'disable' : the default, no discard is done
- 'besteffort' :

[PATCH v3 00/41] arch: barrier cleanup + barriers for virt
Changes since v2:
- extended checkpatch tests for barriers, and added patches
teaching it to warn about incorrect usage of barriers
(__smp_xxx barriers are for use by asm-generic code only),
should help prevent misuse by arch code
to address comments by Russell King
- patched more instances of xen to use virt_ barriers
as suggested by Stefano Stabellini
- implemented a 2 byte xchg on sh

[PATCH v3 00/10] Add discard support.
This set of patches:
- Adds new APIs to support discard in libguestfs.
- Adds discard support to virt-format.
- Adds discard support to virt-sysprep.
- Implements virt-sparsify --in-place.
This is now working, after fixing the rather stupid bug in fstrim.
I've pushed the ones which were ACKed previously + the fstrim fix.
Rich.
