Patch to #5140 - same issue could be elsewhere...
In Ruby 1.9.2 theres this new functionality - responds_to_misisng? . Calls
to this were being picked up by method_missing and causing some rather odd
problems in active_record..
i added a patch to Lighthouse that takes care of this explicit case; my
concern is given the wide dependence on method_missing within rails and
particularly active record, this same bug could be present along other code

Monitor events?
Hi all,
I would like to know if there is any possibility to send an event when a
call is monitored?
For both start and stop monitor.
There is no event sent on asterisk 1.2 for that monitor case. I did not
find any changes regrding that on 1.4. Am I wrong?
Is it even possible to send an event when a monitor starts or stop ? Or
is this a bad idea.
Regards,
Daniel

Removing "Parsing /etc/asterisk/manager.conf" from CLI
Hello,
Is there any way of removing this line from showing on the console? I have a
script that logs in every few seconds to manager and it makes the CLI output
very hard to follow because of the " == Parsing
'/etc/asterisk/manager.conf': Found". (Yes, Found! manager.conf was there 3
seconds ago, guess what it's still there.)
There is a very old feature request about this

Fwd: Encoding quality and CPU requirements
...i,
I apologize for my previous e-mail, I will be more specific this time.
I need to encode G711u WAV files to Speex, which are 4 minutes length on
average. For this task I first convert audio to PCM 16 and then run the
Speex command line encoder as follows. OS is WS2003 and Processor is Intel
Xeon 5140 @ 2.33GHz (2 CPUs).
Encoding such a file is taking around 2 seconds and the usage of the
processor core where the encoder is scheduled to reaches 100%.
Goal: I'd need to know if it's possible to lower the encoding time without
sacrificing so much quality and bandwith. I appreciate any sugg...
