How do I change kern.ipc.shmmax in FreeBSD 5.x automatically after reboot?
Hello, I have the following entries in /boot/loader.conf: kern.ipc.shm_use_phys="1" kern.ipc.semmns="500" kern.ipc.semmni="40" kern.ipc.semmap="500" which are set correctly. Unfortunately, the following two entries kern.ipc.shmmax="512000000" kern.ipc.shmall="65526" do not change the corresponding values according to sysctl, no matter whether I put them in /boot/loader.conf or /etc/sysctl.conf. Changing them by hand (as root with 'sysctl') afterwards however _does_ work, so I have (for now) put those two set...

Debootstrapping a rootfs for Xen on FastModels A15
Hi, I''ve tried several different approaches to debootstrap a working rootfs for with a Cortex A15 model ( FastModels ) and Xen but still face some issues. Some information on my setup. For a Dom0 kernel I''m using the latest version from git://github.com/torvalds/linux.git, I attached my config as it might be of some use for others. I''m using the latest Xen unstable

compressed mbox patch
Some ages ago there existed a compressed mbox patch, but now all I can find are posting about it. Does such a beast exist and would it remotely apply to today's dovecot? If not, is there any hope that something like that emerges? Thanks! -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name: not available Type:

Q: Timing of render :update in an action ?
Hey folks, am hoping someone can set me straight with a solution to an issue that has come up involving the timing of rendered page elements in relation to the completion of an action''s execution. I have an ror search app which searches through two tables consisting of 7,000 page urls and a table w/ 87,000 related keyphrases within those pages. Search results can take anywhere from 2

ext3 fs errors 3T fs

I have a ~3T ext3 filesystem on linux software raid that had been behaving corectly for sometime. Not to long ago it gave the following error after trying to mount it: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/md0, or too many
