another odd centos 4 issue
while in firefox if i use arrow keys in text fields, it acts very oddly.
starting at the beginning of the line it works fine for a few characters
and then jumps to the end of the line. backarrow jumps backwards from the
end of line to within a few chars of the beginning.
anyone else seeing this?

[OT] CentOS web form troubles
It looks as if the "Contact Us" form for sending comments to the CentOS
webmasters (http://www.centos.org/modules/contact/) is trying to send
mail to donavan at mail.centos.org, which apparently gets forward to an
account @4wx.net. The mail server for that domain is having a hard time
communicating with mail.centos.org.
Is there anyone on this list who can confirm, deny, or report the
problem? :-)

OT: firewalls
What is everyone using for a firewall?
I'm currently using www.astaro.com but their recent releases have soured
me on ASL as a practical solution on my hardware (1.2MHz Athlon, 30G,
and 256M). I only have 4 computers going through the firewall wall but
it's consistently at 50% cpu load. There is very little network traffic

winbind on Solaris 2.5.1 not working.
Ok folks,
Here is the deal. I have posted to the news groups several times and gotten
not a single thing. I have been trying since march to get 2.2.8a working on
sol2.5.1 with winbind to do the authentication but it has failed miserably.
Winbindd starts but fails to create the /tmp/.winbindd/pipe file and bombs
like a daisycutter. But if I run winbindd like this " truss -aefo /tmp/file

Join fails with 'SPNEGO login failed: invalid parameter'
Hi,
I am running Samba 3.2.4 on a Solaris 10 SPARC machine. The config is pretty
simple (see below). Security is set to 'domain'. The PDC and BDC are running
3.0.30 without problems.
When joining the machine to the domain with 'net rpc join', it fails with:
Could not connect to server 130.37.79.2
Connection failed: NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
