Hi,
just got this oops on one of my production servers (4way smp + highmem).
Is it fixed in newer kernels or is it something new?
Load is steadily growing and i cant even do a 'ps ax'...

Error: Error creating domain: cannot concatenate ''str'' and ''NoneType'' objects
Is this a bug or a python compatibility issue? FYI, I am running this on
a 4way Intel box with RHEL4 installed on it. I have installed latest
(as of 7 June) xen-unstable-src.tgz.

SMP kernel with X100P card
Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience with running a X100P card with * in an SMP
machine?
I have plugged the card into a 4way 2.4 GHz server, and the hardware config
seems ok -- the passthrough phone line works, the card has it's own IRQ on
CPU0, and /proc/zaptel/1 doesn't show any errors.
* seems to be ok as well, as I am able to register with my SIP proxy. (and I
have set up the zaptel.conf and zapata.conf file...

maximum cpus/cores in CentOS 4.1
What is the maximum number of AMD64 cores supported by CentOS 4?
The RedHat page https://www.redhat.com/software/rhel/configuration/
suggests that RHEL 4 AS supports up to 8 AMD64/EM64T logical cpus. Is
that accurate and does it apply to CentOS 4?
I see a few vendors offering boxes with 8 (dual core) CPU sockets.
IWILL for one.
Thanks,

Don´t know what test i have to use
Hello,
I?m starting with my PhD and I have to stop because i got a little knowledge
in R and statistics.
I?ve got a model of this kind:
binary response variable: prevalence of infection (0/1)
3 categorical independent variables: sex, month and name of the area
I was trying with a full model like this, before the simplification
model<-aov(prevalencia~sex*month*area)
but the Fligner test

Where the data file is stored?
Hi folks,
OS - Ubuntu 10.04
On R I create a datafile named "data". I can evoke it on R with;
> data
On R Commander
Data -> Active data set -> Select active data set -> (data) OK
only one data set there "data"
-> View data set
I can read it
-> Edit data set
showing 25 rows of data. Clicking the box shows a thick border around it. But
I couldn't

Oracle 9.2.0.6 on Solaris 10
How can I tell if this is normal behaviour? Oracle imports are horribly slow, an order of magnitude slower than on the same hardware with a slower disk array and Solaris 9. What I can look for to see where the problem lies?
The server is 99% idle right now, with one database running. Each sample is about 5 seconds. I''ve tried setting kernel parameters despite the docs saying that

No, the behavior isn't cured. We still continue to see it
with various clients. I have posted a couple of truss outputs,
but so far no resolution.
Sorry for the slow response. I've been "fighting other fires".
