plotting the following data
Hi,
I need to plot $time on the x-axis and $f on the y-axis for the following
data:
time f
0h 0.00
0.5h 0.54
1h 1.15
2h 2.33
4h 1.57
6h 2.19
18h 1.45
24h 1.79
I want the order of the data-points to be retained and the x-coordinates of
each of the 8 data-points to be equally spaced.
however, using plot($time, $f) completely scrambles the ordering of the
points.
Any pointers to this newbie on how to plot these dat...

how to calculate time offset between timezones?
...in a header.
I was guessing that
> ISOdatetime(2008,1,1,1,0,0,tz="GMT") -
> ISOdatetime(2008,1,1,1,0,0,tz="AST")
would work, but it gives a difference of 0. However, when I do
> ISOdatetime(2008,1,1,1,0,0,tz="GMT") - ISOdatetime(2008,1,1,1,0,0)
I get a -4h offset, which is correct. The odd thing is, I am in AST time,
as shown by the following.
> ISOdatetime(2008,1,1,1,0,0)

Minimize sshd log clutter/spam from unauthenticated connections
To radically cut down on SSH log spam you can also hide it completely behind a firewall, and allow access only by some port knocking sequence.
I quite like having a process listen on port 53 and wait for a dns query containing a totp string to grant (temporary) access; that's a 2fa, and doing a "host 123456. my-ip" is easily automated in a shell script as well...

Replace SBS2003 with Samba4
Hello all,
I'm currently investigating the option to completely replace a SBS2003 DC
with a Samba4 DC. My research (mostly on samba.org guides) shows that it is
feasible, however I'd like to get feedback from the community on my goals.
Current status:
A Windows SBS 2003 is the PDC and a W2008 R2 server is acting as secondary
DC. Domain operational level is 2003.
There are ~40-50

v1.1.alpha4 released / about dbox
...hanges wouldn't be completely lost. Metadata
updates of course use disk I/O so they shouldn't be done too often.
I was thinking that the metadata could be updated:
- if IMAP connection has been idling for 4 hours (not changing flags)
- when closing mailbox and there are changes older than 4h
- immediately if there are changes older than 24h (whenever mailbox is
being synced, e.g. SELECT/NOOP/STATUS)
Or something like that. Those rules can of course be changed, but I'm
not sure if I should bother making them configurable from dovecot.conf.
There are already too many settings.
