Samba and Solidworks (cat and dog)?

They all failed. I use RHEL 4ES and samba that came with this distro. Any
help would be appreciated.

RHWAS rebuild efforts
There is a new Web Application Stack that I would like to get the RPMS
for into CentOS Plus. I am trying to get the upstream provider to the
provide these SRPMS to their public FTP server, but so far they are not
there:

These RPMS would be a major add to CentOSPlus .... as they would provide

mirroring with lftp
i've maintained a local centos repository at work using rsync, but it
seems the corp honchos have decided to block rsync at our firewall, plus
its never been 100% reliable, I'd get aborts on protocol errors
sometimes several times before pulling down a complete new distro update.
i'm trying to figure out how to do this with lftp, and its got me
somewhat stymied.

Can someone tell me what the exact CentOS policy for end-of-life is for 5.0?
Let me explain: I have been using RHEL for a number of years and had to
switch to Fedora for installing some packages only supported under F6.
As I find Fedora's policy for release life duration too stringent (and I
do no longer need the packages that made me choose F6), I'm considering
switching over

Hi all,
I''m looking at changing the operatingsystemrelease fact for Red Hat.
Linux currently just uses the kernel release as the operating system
release, but I''ve got a client who wants the release to have both the
specific distro (e.g., AS or EL) and the release (e.g., 3 or 4).
Will this particularly annoy anyone? Anyone want to help make the
release string work on
